Experience a home-grown ‘manger full’ of Australian Lessons and Carols with The Choir of St James’ and the Academy of St James’, and special guests, actor Lex Marinos, and comedian/journalist/author Gretel Killeen.

Gul Gul Dja Mardji is a true blue Christmas concert featuring music by Paul Kelly, Christopher Willcock, Alice Chance, with carol favourites from Wheeler & James, and specially commissioned works by St James’ choristers, Owen Elsley and Brooke Shelley.  An all-Australian music line up will be interspersed by readings from contemporary and historical Australian writers, including William McInnes, Ethel Turner, and Patrick White, with some Christmas memories past, present, and probably hilarious from Lex Marinos and Gretel Killeen.
