Communism and Faith in North Korea

Michael Kirby, a retired judge of the High Court, was appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council to lead a commission of inquiry into human rights abuses in North Korea, which reported in 2014. Christopher Richardson, a St James’ parishioner and author, has completed a PhD on North Korean children’s culture. We will hear about life under communism and its impact upon religious faith in North Korea.
