We are currently in the process of installing the new St James’ organ, our major Bicentenary project. The organ has been designed and built by Dobson Organ Builders of Iowa. Members of the Dobson team are currently hard at work along with local builders, electricians, carpenters and pipe organ builders to install the organ. We’ll update this page with photos of the process so please check back regularly during January and February for updates.

We’ve recently published this new video which showcases the new Dobson at Merton College, Oxford, and features a number of members of the SJKS team speaking about what difference this new instrument will make to the life and ministry of our parish and the wider community. We are grateful to the St James’ Music Foundation for their support in making this video possible and for their major support of the fundraising for this project.

Please browse the photos below showing some of the progress as the organ is installed. A timelapse camera is also capturing the progress and we will publish a video in a few months to show the overall progress. Please check back here regularly for updates.
