Worship, put simply, is the means by which we as Christians individually or collectively express our praise and thanksgiving to God, in an attitude of adoration, acknowledging God’s sovereignty over His creation. It incorporates various forms in regular Christian practice, from singing hymns and saying prayers to the offering of money or time for the benefit of the local community. Sermons are also a form of worship. There are various ways in which we worship at St James’. Principally our worship is offered through both our mid-week Eucharist and Prayer services as well as our main services on Sundays.
