Poetry in the Crypt: Ann-Marie Blanchard

Prize-winning poet and fiction writer Ann-Marie Blanchard will read from her upcoming collection in the historic crypt of St James’ King Street, with discussion and refreshments to follow.
Originally from rural Australia, Ann-Marie’s work has appeared in The Georgia Review, Adroit Journal, Palette Poetry, Meanjin Quarterly, Overland, Cordite Poetry Review and elsewhere. In 2024 she was a Bundanon Artist in Residence; in 2022 she won The Missouri Review Editors’ Prize in fiction. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a PhD in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. At present, Ann-Marie teaches philosophy at The University of Notre Dame Australia having taught at universities in the United States for a decade.
